  'Practical' Roofers is an excellent name for this company. They have been extremely professional from start to finish. We had a flashing and joist repair which needed to be taken care of quickly. The Practical Roofers team arrived with ladders which meant that they could access all parts of the roof ( on our 1930's semi-detached house) far faster than a company relying on scaffolding could have done. They were extremely polite in dealing with both us, our neighbours, and all the other tradesmen working on our house that day, and I was very impressed with how they got on with their job while working around plumbers, drainsmen and builders - very efficient and agile. They were cheaper than the other companies that quoted for flashing, chimney and roof repairs (because they do not rely on scaffolding), and were more responsive to our needs - we found extra leaks in the roof only the day before they were due to arrive, but they brought all the additional materials required to fix the problem and solved it all in one day. I would definitely recommend this company.
